Saint Clement Danes,
28th March 1786.

Middlesex

to wit, Sarah Winter< no role > , aged between nineteen
and twenty Years, Singlewoman on her Oath Saith
That She never was married, Says that She lived as a
Yearly hired Servant with Mr Johnson a Sadler at Croydon
in the County of Surry at the Yearly Wages of £3. that She
quitted his Service about four Years ago, having lived
with him in manner aforesaid for upwards of twelvemonth
that since quitting her said Service She has not done
any Act, Matter or thing whereby to gain any other
Settlement - And further this Examinant, on her
Oath saith that on the twenty second Day of January
now last past, She was delivered of a female Bastard
Child at the House of Mr. Bricklay in Nags head Court
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of
Middlesex which said Child has Since been Christned by
the Name of Ann Sheridine< no role > and that Joseph Sheridine< no role >
of Greenwich in the County of Kent Taylor , and who
lately worked with Mr. Burn of Crumbs Hill
Greenwich aforesaid Taylor, the real and true
father of the said Child, he having had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinants Body in the Month
of April now last past and at several times
since, at some or one of which times he did
beget the said Child of which She was so delivered
as aforesaid
