to wit) Catharine Peet< no role > singlewoman aged eighteen Years or
thereabouts on behalf of Jane Peet< no role > her Sister an Infant of the
Age of fourteen Years or thereabouts upon her Oath saith
that the said Jane Peet< no role > , was placed out Apprentice by the
Officers of the Parish of Saint Paul Deptford to one Catharine
Peet
< no role > this Examinants Aunt, who at the time lived in the Parish
of Saint Paul Shadwell that she served as an Apprentice to
her said Aunt for about two Years, and then her said Aunt
placed her with one Mrs. Selby to whom she paid for her board
and it was agreed between her said Aunt and said Mrs. Selby
that the said Mrs. Selby should procure a Service for the said
Apprentice Jane Peet< no role > ,-and this Examinant further saith
that the said Mrs. Selby did accordingly procure a Place
for the said Jane Peet< no role > to live with one Mr-Pair a Watch care
maker in Islington Road facing Sadlers Wells in the Parish
of Saint Mary Islington James Gler manuall in the County of Middlesex at the
wages of one shilling a Week besides Board - that Mrs
the said Jane Peet< no role > lived with the said Mr- Pair under
such Agreement for about eighteen Weeks - and quitted
her said place abouta fortnightthree years ago - That said Mrs
Selby reced the said Wages the greater part of which she has
laid out for Cloaths for the said Jane Peet< no role >
