to wit Hannah Grinsted< no role > aged about 18 years upon
her Oath saith that she never was married Rented
House [..] paid Taxes [..]
[..] or ever served any Apprenticeship Says that her father
John Grinsted< no role > Rented and lived in a House in Chancery Lane
in the Liberty of the Rolls at the yearly Rent of 50 Guineas
where this Examinant was born [..] as she has been informed
since which time she hath done no Act Matter or thing where by
to the best of her Knowledge Information or belief she may
have gained a Settlement elsewhere And further on her
Oath saith that on the 11th. day of Octr. last past she was
delivered of a Female Bastard Child in the House of a Mr.
Williams in Great Shire Lane in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes which has not yet been baptized And further saith
that one James Brady< no role > Clerk to [..] Councellor Jeykin of the
Kings Bench Walks in the Temple is the father thereof he
having had Carnal Knowledge of this Deponents Body
sometime in the Month of March or April last and at several
different times afterwards at one of which times he did
beget the said Child of which she was so delivered as afsd.
and that the said James Brady< no role > and no one else did beget
the same and that he is the real and true father
thereof
