never was married Rented House or Tene [..]
of 10 Pounds a year Paid Taxes Saith that she
lived 5 years as a hired yearly Servant with
one Mr. Darby in East Street Red Lyon Square
in the Parish of Saint Geo: Queen Square at
the yearly Wages of Nine Guineas hath quitted
said Service only a week ago that on or about
the 4th Sept. 1778 she was delivered of a male
bastard Child at the House of one Edwd. Wheeler< no role >
a Green Grocer in Essex Street in the Parish
of Saint Clement Danes afterwards
Christened at St. Clements Church by the
name of James Cooper< no role > that Edwd. Cooper< no role >
a Gentlemans Servant who lately lived
with a Mr. Edward No. 22 Percy Street
Rathbone Place and no one else in the
Real and true father thereof he having
had Carnal Knowledge of her
Body and be gotten the same that the said
