, who had been but a few Weeks at London, and scarce understood one Word of our English Language; he could not speak Latin, nor any foreign Language, only a little French. A Reverend Clergyman of that Nation came sometimes to visit and exhort him, and also frequently brought him Money for the Relief of his Necessities, he being very poor, and destitute of Friends.</p>
