THE ORDINARY of NEWGATE, His ACCOUNT of the Behaviour, Confession, &c.

AT the King's Commission of Oyer and Terminer, and Jail-delivery of Newgate, (held before the Rt. Hon . Sir ROBERT GODSCHALL< no role > , Kt . Lord-Mayor of the City of London ; the Hon. Mr. Justice PARKER, the Hon. Mr. Justice WRIGHT, the Hon. Mr. Baron ABNEY, the Hon. Sir JOHN STRANGE< no role > , Knt . Recorder, the Right Worshipful Mr. Serjeant URLIN, Deputy-Recorder of the City of London; and Others, his Majesty's Justices of Oyer and Terminer for the City of London, and Justices of Jail-delivery of Newgate, for the said City and County of Middlesex) at Justice-Hall in the Old-Baily , on Friday, the 15th , Saturday the 16th , Monday the 18th , and Tuesday the 19th, of January, 1741-2 , in the 15th Year of his Majesty's Reign.

Five Men, viz. Thomas Pinks< no role > , Stephen Jenkins< no role > , Joseph Pig< no role > , Jesse Welden< no role > , and Christopher Jordan< no role > ; also two Women, viz. Eleanor Brown< no role > and Margaret Lumley< no role > were by the Jury convicted of capital Crimes, and received Sentence of Death.

At the King's Commission of Oyer and Terminer, and Jail-delivery of Newgate, held (before the Rt. Hon . Sir ROBERT GODSCHALL< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor of the City of London ; the Hon. Mr. Baron CARTER, the Hon. Mr. Baron ABNEY; the Hon. Mr. Justice BURNET; the Worshipful Mr. Serjeant URLIN, Deputy-Recorder, and Others, his Majesty's Justices of Oyer and Terminer, for the City of London, and Justices of Jail-delivery, of Newgate, holden for the said City and County of Middlesex) at Justice-Hall in the Old-Bailey , on Wednesday the 24th , Thursday the 25th , Friday the 26th , and Saturday the 27th of February 1741-2, in the 15th Year of his Majesty's Reign.

Five Men, viz. Alexander Afflack< no role > , John Lowden< no role > , Robert Lloyd< no role > , William Plummer< no role > , and Morgan< no role > or Martin Newland< no role > , were by the Jury convicted of capital Crimes, and received Sentence of Death.

While under Sentence, they were instructed from these Words, Whoso offereth Praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his Conversation aright will I shew the Salvation
