THE ORDINARY of NEWGATE, His ACCOUNT of the Behaviour, Confession, &c.

T the King's Commission of Oyer and Terminer, and Gaol-Delivery of Newgate, held (before the Right Honourable Sir William Billers< no role > , Knt. Lord Mayor of the City of London ; the Right Honourable Lord Chief Justice Hardwicke; the Honourable Mr. Justice Reeves; the Worshipful Mr. Serjeant Urlin, Deputy-Recorder of the City of London; and others his Majesty's Justices of Oyer and Terminer for the City of London; and Justices of Gaol-Delivery of Newgate, holden for the said City and County of Middlesex,) at Justice-Hall in the Old-Bailey, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the 24th , 25th and 26th of April, 1734 , in the Seventh Year of his Majesty's Reign.

Five Men, viz. Thomas Evans< no role > , William Jellard< no role > , William Fletcher< no role > , John Green< no role > , Peter Merchie< no role > ; and two Women, viz. Massey Hornbey< no role > , and Elizabeth Hewit< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. , were by the Jury convicted of capital Crimes, and received Sentence of Death. And,
