THE ORDINARY of NEWGATE, His ACCOUNT of the Behaviour, Confession, &c.

AT the King's Commission of Oyer and Terminer, and Gaol-Delivery of Newgate, held (before the Right Hon. FRANCIS CHILD< no role > , Esq ; Lord Mayor of the City of London ; the Hon. Mr. Justice Page; the Hon. Mr. Baron Cummins; the Worshipful Mr. Serjeant Urlin, Deputy-Recorder of the City of London, and others his Majesty's Justices of Oyer and Terminer, for the City of London, and Justices of the Gaol-Delivery of Newgate, holden for the said City and County of Middlesex) at Justice-Hall in the Old Bailey , on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, being the 25th , 26th , 27th and 29th of May, 1732 ; in the Fifth Year of his Majesty's Reign.

Nine Men, viz. John Dunston< no role > , John Osburn< no role > , Robert Roberts< no role > , alia Robinson< no role > , John Wakeling< no role > , William Woolcott< no role > , Henry Barns< no role > , John Longmore< no role > , Edward Spaul< no role > , alias Spaw< no role > , and Michael Shaw< no role > , were by the Jury found guilty of capital Offences, and sentenc'd to die.

While under Sentence, they were instructed from these Words, Then said Jesus unto his Disciples, if any Man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his Cross, and follow me. St. Math. xvi. 24. This Jesus said unto his Disciples, unto these who are willing to be taught and instructed by him, in the Way which leadeth unto Life everlasting. All they who are come unto him.
