She must frequently Inspect into the Behaviour of the Nurses<lb></lb>
Helpers and Watchers towards the Patients and if She at any<lb></lb>
time discover any neglect of Duty She must acquaint the Trea-<lb></lb>
surer or Steward therewith So that due Punishment be inflicted<lb></lb>
accordingly</p>

She must frequently when the Bell Rings to Prayers look into the<lb></lb>
Womens Wards & Oblige such as are able to Attend the Service of<lb></lb>
God in the Chapel & if she find any defaulters to put them of<lb></lb>
their next days diet and sent such Persons names to the Steward</p>

She must see that good order be kept in the Women's Wards and that all<lb></lb>
that are able be Obliged to take their Dinners and Suppers at the<lb></lb>
Table & that all be in their Beds at eight of the Clock in Winter and<lb></lb>
nine in the Summer Evenings going through the Womens Wards<lb></lb>
every day</p>

She must on taking in days Attend the Governors Takers in with<lb></lb>
an Account of the number of empty Beds and see that the Nurses<lb></lb>
do all duly attend in their Places with such of their Patients as<lb></lb>
are to be discharged</p>

She must be particularly carefull that the Characters of such Persons<lb></lb>
as are admitted to be Watchers in this Hospital be good so that the<lb></lb>
Patients be carefully attended</p>

She must be a Single Woman & so Continue during her being in<lb></lb>
the Office.</p>

She is not to receive on any Pretence Presents or demand Money<lb></lb>
from any of the Nurses Helpers or Watchers</p>

She is to reside in this Hospital in the House or Apartment pro-<lb></lb>
vided for her and shall not Lodge out of the Hospital without<lb></lb>
leave of the Treasurer nor employ any Helper Watch or Patient<lb></lb>
about any but the House Business</p>

Rules to be read to the Candidates for that Office before the Election</p>
