method used in that respect within the last hundred years<lb></lb>
and the Same was laid before the said Court And<lb></lb>
Mr. Treasurer having likewise laid before us two other<lb></lb>
paper writings received by him from the Said Town Clerk<lb></lb>
One of them importing Minutes of a Court of Aldermen<lb></lb>
held 10th March 1690 and a Resolution of the Present Court<lb></lb>
of Alderman dated 22d. May last And the other of the Same<lb></lb>
date importing a Resolution that upon the death or<lb></lb>
resignation of a President of this Hospital the right of<lb></lb>
Summoning and holding a Court in Which a New President<lb></lb>
is to be Chosen is in the Lord Mayor for the time being and<lb></lb>
also another Paper writing which he recieved from<lb></lb>

Presidents and Governors and to advise with Council as<lb></lb>
they shall think fit and to make their Report to the<lb></lb>
