Broad; They lye about 30: or 40: yards deep: There is<lb></lb>
a Bed of Stone between the Surface and the Coale, which they<lb></lb>
break thro' with Gun powder, and make a Hole from ye Surface<lb></lb>
to the Coale about 4 or 5 feet Square.</p>
