An Assault

Joseph Browne< no role > of Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex
Apothecary maketh Oath and saith that he is informed and
verily believes that Bills of Indictments have been preferred by the
prosecutions abovenamed against the abovenamed Defendanting
October Sessions last for an Assault and returned true Bills And
that Bail was put in for the said Defendant who together with
himself entered into Recognizances for his personal Appearance at
December Sessions following to answer and plead to the said Indictments
as he this Deponent hath been informed and verily believes to be
true And this Deponent further saith that he hath as an
Apothecary Attended the said Defendant for One Month past during
the greater past of which time the said Defendant hath been so
he with the Rheumation as not to be able to be removed from his
Bed and still remains in such State as to render of impossible
he could come into this Honorable Court or even to be brought there
without endangering his Life but hopes as the Weather now gets
Warmer he may be Sufficiently recovered to appear [..] and plead to
the said Indictments by the next Sessions And this Deponent
further saith that the said Defendant hath not to this Deponents
knowledge or belief been able to go out of his House or Scarcely from
his Room without assistance since the last Sessions
