To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex at their General Session
of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of
William Lovell< no role > of Whitechapel Road Baker

Sheweth


That your Petitioners was convicted on the fourth day of
August last by Daniel William< no role > Esquire and the Revd Henry Reynett< no role > Doctor in Divinity two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County on the Complaint of the
Master and Wardens of the Bakers Company for having
unlawfully made and exposed to Sale on the second Day of
August last one half peck Loaf deficient in Weight nine Ounces
and nineteen quarter of a Pock Loaves deficient in Weight fifty
six Ounces according to the Assise set for such Bread and
your Petitioner was adjudged to pay and forfeit the Sum of
nine Pounds fifteen Shillings for the same

That your Petitioner conceives himself aggrieved by the
said Conviction and humbly appeals against the same

Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays
your Worships to appoint a Day to hear
and determine the said Appeal.

And your Petitioner shall ever pray
