That your Petitioner was on or about the fifth day of
Januarylast convicted in the Penalty of Five Pounds by
Aaron Graham< no role >
Esquire One of the Justices of the Peace for the said
County upon an Information Exhibited and prosecuted by
Thomas
Chapman< no role >
charging That your Petitioner did in Drury
Lane
in the said County on the Seventeenth day of
September last take and receive of
Abigail Hill< no role >
on
Redeeming the Pledge thereafter mentioned one penny
by way of Profit upon Six pence
on the Twelfthday of August last Lent upon a Pledge
of a Shawlto the said Abigail Hill
contrary to the Statute Etc.
That your Petitioner conceives himself Aggrieved by such
Conviction and is advised to Appeal against the same.
Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays
your Worships will be Pleased to Permit him
to enter his Appeal so that the same may be
Heard at this present General Quarter Session of the Peace
in and for the said County And that your
Worships will Appoint a Day for hearing and
determining the same.
And Your Petitioner shall
