Middlesex (to wit)


To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justice
of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex in their General Sessions of the
Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Parish of Tooling
Graveney in the County of Surry-

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under their
hands and Seals of Nathaniel Conant< no role > and John Scott< no role > Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex bearing date the fifth day of November one thousand
seven hundred and ninety six Susannah Court< no role > Single woman
and her Female Bastard Child named Caroline< no role > aged one year
and upwards were removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint
Mary le bone in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish
of Sooting Graveney (in the said order named Tooting ) as the
place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggeieved
by the said Warrant or order of the said Two Justices Do thereof
appeal to your Worships therefrom And humbly play that your
will please to hear them in the promises And order that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Mary le bone may appear before you at a certain day day to be
appointed to hear and abide the Judgement and determination
of your Worships touching this appeal

And your Petitioners shall Pray Etc.
