To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the County of Middlesex at their General Quarter Session of
the Peace at Hicks Hall Clerkenwell in the said County Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex

Shew


That by virtue of a pass Warrant or Order of Removal
under the hands and Seals of PColquhoun and John
Staples
< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace acting
in and for the said County of Middlesex (one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the twenty third day of March now
last past John Bowing< no role > and Susanna< no role > his Wife were Removed
from the Parish of Saint Luke in the said County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden aforesaid as the
Place of their last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves aggrieved and do Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitioners therefore pray the Court that the
benefit of their said Appeal may be saved unto them
and that the bearing and determining the same
may be adjourned into the next General Quarter
Session of the Peace And that all persons concerned
may be directed then and there to attend

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray etc.
