To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex on their General Quarter Session of the Peace
assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Church=
=Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Mary Aldermary in the City of London

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of John Kares< no role > and John Staples< no role > Esqrs
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Ninth day of December last Ann Dawkins Hidow of James
Dawkins
< no role > deceased and her four Children (that is to say) Thomas< no role > aged
Six Years Sarah< no role > aged Five Years and James< no role > and Ann< no role > (twins)
aged Respectively three years were removed from theParish
of
Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Mary Aldermary
as the Place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Warrant or Order Do humbly
appeal against the same and pray that your
Worships will be pleased to appoint a day in the
next Session that all Parties Concerned may attend
to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination
of this Court touching thesaidAppeall

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
