having offered themselves as Candidates
to succeed to that Office The Court proceeded
to a Ballot; and the Ballot being closed
it appeared that 106 of His Majesty [..] of the peace for this County had [..] & That 76Justiceshad
ballotted for the said Elijah Goff< no role > and
30Justicesfor the said Henry Leroux< no role >
Whereupon the said Elijah Goff< no role > was
declared to be duly elected thing called
