To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Christ-Church , in the County
of Middlesex , and to the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Croydon in
the County of Surry

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto US,
Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting
in and for the County of MIDDLESEX aforesaid (One whereof
being of the QUORUM) by the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish of CHRIST-CHURCH , That
William Wortley< no role > and Sarah< no role > his Wife and their
Two legitimate Children (Vizt.) Rebecca< no role > aged
twelve Years and upwards and William< no role > Aged Six
Years or thereabouts have
lately intruded, and come into the said
Parish of CHRIST-CHURCH , and are
become chargeable to the same, We, the said Justices,
upon Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and other
Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also
adjudge that the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
William Wortley< no role > , and Sarah his Wife and their
said Two legitimate Children Rebecca and William
[..] in the said Parish [..] in the County

THESE are, therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of CHRIST-CHURCH ,on Sight hereof
to remove and convey the said William Wortley< no role > and
Sarah< no role > his Wife and their said two legitimate
Children Rebecca< no role > and William
from and out of your said Parish of CHRIST-CHURCH , to
the said Parish of Croydon in the County of
Surry
and them to deliver unto the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who
are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law.

of December One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety
five
