The Information of William Day< no role > Victualler
& Cornchandler in Southgate in the said County Taken
before me One of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in
& for the said County this Thirtieth Day of July 1795

Who an his Oath Sayeth that Henry Wilson< no role > ,
new brought before Me by Potter Batson< no role > of Edmonton
Constable was this Day given in Charge by him to the
said Constable on Suspicion of having feloniously
taken & carried away from his Corn Granary about
Three Picks of Horse Beans in a sach the Property of
this Informant

Evidence of Thomas Cheadell< no role >

Who on his Oath Sayeth That early in this Morning
He saw Henry Wilson< no role > on the Road with a Sack upon
his Back & said to him, you have got Janry of Your
Masters Corn any your Back with Wilbondened but on
Suspicion thereof by immediately accquainted
Mr. Day therewith who pursed Wilson & in a few
Minutes afterwards found the Sack & Beans thrawn
into a Basmet under asked belonging to James
Stillman
< no role > a Carter in Southgate , wch Mr. Day
took away & Changd Wilson with the Felony.

The Defence of Henry Wilson< no role >

Who Voluntarily Confessed that he did early in the
Morning take the key of the Granary from the Barn
of his Masters House, opened the Granary & put the
Beans into the Sack, that he laid the Sack Down
in the yard till he had hungup the Key again in the
Barr, then caused the Sack there the Garden for fear
of being Scan & then carried the Sack & Beans to the
Shoe , belonging to stillman, where his Masters
found it, The Sack & Beans being produced He
said it was the Same which he took away from the
Granary
