The Inhabitants of the Parish of Fulham
for not repairing a certain
part of the Kings Common Highway containing One
Thousand Two Hundred Yards in length and fifteen
Feet in breadth situate between a certain Cottage in the
possession of

. called Craven Cottage
situate in certain Lands called Fulham Field otherwise
Fulham Fields
and a certain Turnpike Road ledding
from the Hamlet of Hammersmith
to the Village of
Fulham
and also unto and into the said Lands called
Fulham Field otherwise Fulham Fields
; the same being
very ruinous miry deep broken and in great decay for
want of due reparation and amendment. so that the Aige
Subjects of our Lord the King through the same way with
their Horses Coaches Carts and Carriages could not nor yet
cango return pass repass ride and labour without great
danger of their lives and the loss of their Goods : on the 1st.
November last & continually afterwards until the day of
taking the Inquisition.
2d. Cot.For not repairing a certain part of the common and
public Kings Highway containing 300 Yards in length and
Fifteen Feet in breadth situate between a certain place called
Crab Tree
in the sd parish and a certain Turnpike Road
leading from the Hamlet of Hammersmith
to the Village of
Fulham
and also unto the said place called Oral Tree
.
the same being very ruinous miry deep broken and in
great decay as aforesaid: on the same days and times
