for feloniously Stealing a silk
Hand kerchief. a Cotton Hand kerchief a Pair of Breeches
and give shillings the property of

then next July Sessions. And this Deponent further
saith that the Prosecuter called on him on wednesday in
the July Session and appointed to meet him

(Thursday) at the session House Clerkenwell
to find the
Bill of Indictment against the Prisoner, this deponent
accordingly went and waited expecting to see the

Prosecutor and when he found he did not come
[..]
Deponent enquired of the Clerk of
[..]
the Prosecutor had been there, and he was

the Indictment had been preferred the day before, upon
which this Deponent asked the Clerk of the Indictments
Whether he this Deponent would not have and Indictment
to save his Recognizance as the suspectd
[..] Prosecutor
had deceived him, the Clerk told this Deponent there
was no Occasion to have another Indictment, and advised
this Deponent first to enquire at the Clerk of the
Peace Office, if the Bill was found and in case if was
to go immediately to the old Bailey

Deponent further saith that he enquired at the Clerk
of the Peace, and was told that the Bill was not found
and this Deponent conceiving that if he attended at
the old Bailey
he would get clear from his Recognizance
went there immediately and on the following day
