Morning last this Informant went with the Team and
loaded Ten quarter of oats in Upper Thames Street
to bring to the said William Dawson< no role > , That on this
Informants return home, he stopped with the Team
at James Wadkins< no role > , the sign of the Cock at Bowes
Farm aforesaid this Informant took a quantity of
Oats out of two on three Sacks, amounting in the
whole to about five peeks which he put into an
empty Sack or baf, which [..] had before been given
to him by James Wadkins Hostler , for that purpose
and this informant carried it into the said James
Wadkin
< no role > 's Stable and left it, this inform ant having
before that time deposited some of his Master's Cotn
in the same Stablethis informant them went
into the House and told Mrs Wadkins That he had
left some Corn in the Stable, and asked for Mr Wadkington
Mrs Wadkins said he was not within and this
Informant told her he would call next day and settle
with Mr Wadkinsand this Informant saith that
he called on the next day (friday last the twenty eighth
Instant) about Eight o Clock in the morning that he saw
Mr Wadkins in the Tap Sworn and asked him how
meech this Informant owed him for Liquor he had
there before; Mr Wadkins said it came to Sixteen pence
Informant then told him, that he this informant had
left a few oats in the stable, and if he Mr Wadkins
would give him another shilling they should be quits
to which Mr Wadkins said very well, and gave this
Informant the shilling That Mr Wadkins asked this
Informant where he had put the Oats, and this
Informant
