Palce or Precinct of Saint Mary Lambeth
in the County of Surrey
or either of them, to receive and obey.

for the said County, upon Oath,
that, Elen Sedgell< no role >
who was on the Sixth day of March Instant apprehended by John Cotton< no role >
a Patroll
within the
Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
as Rogue and Vagabond
hath committed
an Act of Vagrancy within the the true Intent and Meaning of the Statutes in that Case
made and provided, and has been [..] duly convicted thereof, and the hav ing
actually been [..] confined in the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell
for Seven Days last past, which I do hereby certify, and whereas
by the Examination of the said Vagrant hereunto annexed, it doth appear that the
lawful Settlement of the said Elen Sedgell< no role >
is in the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth
in the County of Surrey
These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer to convey
the said Vagrant above-named to the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
that
being the first Parish in the next Precinct, through which she ought to pass, in
the direct Way to the said Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth
to which
the said Vagabond is to be sent, and deliver Her to the Constable or other
Officer of such Parish, in such next Precinct, together with this Pass, and the Dupli-
cate of the Examination of the said Elen< no role >

taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Vagrant above-named is to be
thence carried on, in like Manner, to the said Parish of Saint Mary
Lambeth
there to be delivered to some Church-Wardens, Chapel-
Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same, to be there provided for according to
Law. And you the said Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseers of the
Poor, are hereby required to receive the said Person and provide for Her as afore-
said.
