Who Informed the Court that he attends
theGoalPrison daily that there are several
Persons inthe Goal Clerkenwell Bridewell Sick of Fevers that
there are thirty Two Men on the Men's Side
and Seven Women on the Women's Side
afflicted with Fevers. But

That in his Opinion there is not any
putrid or Goal Fever in Clerkenwell Bridewell

That the great number of Persons Stowed
in a small space like the Sick Ward tends
& increase the Complaint as some have
relapsed by Staying there when recovered
but that sevl who are well enough to
go down have not Cloaths to cover them

That they have not proper Bed Cloaths
in the Sick Ward and that there is no [..]
want or deficiency every thing being furnished
