That there was before the said Bridge was erected or
great hollow in the High Way through which at times
it was dangerous for Horses and Carriages to pass
That Mr Aisleby having made the Bed for the
Water Wider there has not been any great depth
of Water since that time but that formerly it
has been impossible for Two Days together

That there was an Intention of building a
Bridge by Subscription of the Inhabitants of
Hendon and Finchley and that a plan was
prepared for that purpose but that the
Contribution was insufficient and therefore
that the plan was dropped that this was
hardly so much as 7 years before Mr Aisleby
built their Bridge in question

That Many Bricks have been taken from
off the Bridge during the last Summer
That in Case of heavy Rains the Water is
too deep for a Wash=way but that if the
Bridge was taken away he does think it as sd
be dangerous
