AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Tuesday the Seventh Day of Junein the
Thirty firstYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain Etc. Before William
Mainwaring

Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the Same County

Whereas William Clapton< no role > of and Sand Yard in the Parish of St James Clerkenwell
in the said County Coach Master Did at the last General Quarter Session of the Peace held
in and for this County Exhibit his Petition and Appeal setting forth That by an Order
under the Hands and Seals of the Reverend Sir George Book< no role > Baronet and Rupert Clarke< no role >
Esquire two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County bearing date the
12th. day of February 1791 they had Adjudged the Petitioner to be the reputed Father of a
Male Bastard Child and had Ordered him to pay certain Sums of Money for the
Weekly Maintenance and Support of such Bastard Child whereby the Petitioner conceived
himself aggrieved which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session Now
upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Parties
their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is Ordered that the
said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said Order of Adjudication of the
said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside
