near <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50863_geo64">Paddington</rs>

for the<lb></lb>
purpose of such deals being used therein but not having any Notice that such Load of Deals<lb></lb>
would be sent in that day none of the Men he employed happened to be at Work at such Houses<lb></lb>
and the Carter not knowing where the Petitioner lived or not having any Person to send to him<lb></lb>
to advise him that such Deals were come and it not being possible to draw them on the Petitioner<lb></lb>
Promises he shot them as near as he could thereto: That immediately after he was informed<lb></lb>
where the deals were laying he sent a number of Men who with as much expedition as possible<lb></lb>
carried them into his Buildings He therefore did not nor did any of the Men employed by him<lb></lb>
leave nor did he suffer the deals to lay longer after such Information than was necessary to have<lb></lb>
them carried upon his own Premises. That He caused due Notice according to the directions<lb></lb>
the Act to be given to the Treasurer of the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50863_geo65">Highgate and Hampstead</rs>

Trusts of his meaning<lb></lb>
and intention to Appeal against the said Conviction at this present General Sessions and<lb></lb>
within Six days next after such Notice was given entered into a Recognizance with two<lb></lb>
sufficient Sureties to try such Appeal at the present General Sessions and to abide the Order of<lb></lb>
and pay such Costs if the Conviction should be Affirmed as should be Awarded. Now upon<lb></lb>
hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Parties their Course<lb></lb>
and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is Ordered that the said Conviction be<lb></lb>
and the same is hereby Quashed</p>
