That by a rate made for the relief of the Poor of<lb></lb>

A Certian Messuage or Dwelling house Garden and premises<lb></lb>
situate in the said Parish in the Occupation of the said<lb></lb>
Duke hath been assessed at the Sum of Seven Pounds<lb></lb>
ten shillings for the present year by which your<lb></lb>
Petitioner conceives himself aggrieved and humbly<lb></lb>
conceives that such rate is excessive and that the<lb></lb>
same ought not to be more than Two Pounds ten<lb></lb>
shillings being one shilling in the Pound on the rent of<lb></lb>
such House and Premises and that such rate is<lb></lb>
unequal irregular and contrary to Law</p>
<p n="1781">Your Petitioner therefore prays that a<lb></lb>
day may be appointed for the hearing and<lb></lb>
determining his said Appeal and that the<lb></lb>
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the<lb></lb>
