For Petty Larceny

Indicted in July Sessions 1790

Peter Ring< no role > of Germin Street Saint James in the County of
Middlesex Cabinett Maker Maketh Oath and Saith that he
this Deponent preferred a Bill of Indictment against the
above named Defandant this present Sessions For Stealing
From this Deponant One Leather Pocket Book which this
Deponant Valued at Tempence And this Deponant Further
saith that his Witness William French< no role > this Day did Attend at
Eleven o Clock to give evidence upon the Prosecution but was
too late And this Deponant Further saith that he has not
received nor neither is he in any Expectation of receiving
any hope Gain or reward to prevent this Deponant
From not appearing to prosecute the above Indictment
and that the sole on only reason this Deponent did not
Attend in time to prosecute was this Deponent was
detained at home in Packing up Goods to go out by the
Tanton Waggon which sett of at Eleven o Clock And this
Deponent further saith that he did not expect the Tryal to come on
so early otherwise this Deponent would have attended earlyer in order
to prosecutes the disdemanded Defondant
