AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , and
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Monday the First Day of Junein the
Twenty ninthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain Etc Before William
Mainwaring

Esquires , and other their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas David Levy< no role > of Rosemary Lane in the Parish of Saint Mary Matfelon
otherwise White Chapel in the said County Salesman Hath at this present Session Exhibited
his Petition and Appeal setting forth That He was on or about the twenty seventh day of
May last upon the complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate in the County aforesaid duly summoned to appear before
Rice Davis< no role > Esqr. and Robert Smith< no role > Esqr two of His Majestys Justices of the peace for the said
County of Middlesex to answer the Complaint of the said Churchwardens and Overseers
for unlawfully begetting a Male Bastard Child on the Body of one Catherine Nathan< no role > This name instance is in set 8314405.
Singlewoman , and which said Child was become chargeable to the said Parish That
in pursuance of such Summons on the thirtieth day of May last he appeared before the
said Rice Davies< no role > Esqr. and Robert Smith< no role > Esqr the Justices aforesaid when they thought
proper to make an Order of Filiation and to adjudge him to be th putative Father of the
said Child whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved Now upon hearing the
said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective parties their Counsel and
Witnesses in and concerning the premises It is Ordered that the said Appeal be
and the same is hereby dismissed and he said Order of the said two Justices is
hereby Confirmed
