MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Pease of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session House for the said County,
on Monday) the twenty third Day of February in the
Twenty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , Rice Davies< no role > , Castern Rohde< no role > , David Walker< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Leonard
in East Cheap Did at the last General Quarter Session of the Peace held in and for this County
Exhibit their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of M Adington and W Barret two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum) Elizabeth King< no role > Widow of Archibald King< no role > (who had been dead near Nine
Months) and their Child John Archibald King< no role > were removed from the Parish of Saint
Margarets in Westminster to the Parish of Saint Leonard in East Cheap as their last
legal place of settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved which
said Appeal stood duly adjourned unto this Session Now the said Appeal coming on to be
heard and the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard in
East Cheap being Solemnly called to some forth and support their said Petition and Appeal but
not appearing not any Person on their behalf It is Ordered that the said Appeal be
and the same is hereby dismissed and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby
Confirmed And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Leonard in East Cheap do maintain and provide for the said
Elizabeth King< no role > and John Archibald King until they can free themselves from the charge
thereof by due course of Law
