And first this Deponent Richard Davis< no role >
for himself Saith that in
January Sessions last he this Deponent together with William Hughes< no role >
became Bail for the Appearance of Two of the above named
Defendants (Viz:) James Christow< no role >
and John Brown< no role >
And this
Deponent further Saith that he has made every Inquiry in his Power
in order that he might Render the above named Defendants into
Custody in order to take their Trials upon the above Indictment but this
Deponent cannot at present find out where the above named Defendant
are to be Found And this Deponent further Saith that he has been informed
that the above named Defendants were Inlisted as Soldiers in the
East India Service And in Consequence thereof this Deponent Went
to the India House
and made all the Inquiry [..] Power after the
above Defendant but was not Suffered to [..] Books And this

as of this Present Sessions And that he this Deponent did likewise

to the India House

this Deponent was informed the Defendants were gone to inlist for
East India Soulders but this Deponent was not Permitted to Search
the Books And this Deponent further Saith that he has made every other
Inquiry in his Power in Order that he might Render the above named
