Parliament passed in the Twenty fifth Year of his present Majesty intitled An Act for<lb></lb>
Repealing the Duties on Licences taken out by persons letting Horses for the purpose of<lb></lb>
travelling Post Etc Did on the 16th. day of June 1788 let out to hire Two Horses by the<lb></lb>
Stage to be used in Travelling Post in drawing a certain Carriage with Four Wheels<lb></lb>
commonly called a Post Chaise from the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50838_geo11">Parish of St. Andrew Holborn</rs>

and did charge the Traveller a specific Sum by the Stage and<lb></lb>
not after the usual or any certain Rate per Mile and did issue a Ticket called a<lb></lb>
Stamp Office Ticket with the Number of Miles expressed thereon but did not express<lb></lb>
on the said Ticket the Sum of Money charged to such Traveller and so received for the<lb></lb>
hire of such Horses as aforesaid whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved<lb></lb>
Now the said Appeal coming on to be heard and the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50838_n8-4">William Hyde</rs>
