Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents those parts of the Parishes of
Saint Clement Dane and Saint Mary le Strand as lie within the Liberty of the
Dutchy of Lancaster and the Precinct of the Savoy in the said County is become
vaccant by the Resignation of Richard Holland< no role > And Whereas at the General
Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden in and for the said County
of Middlesex at the Sessions House for the said County (by adjournement) on
Thursday the third day of April in the Twenty eighth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc Before William

Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanours committed in the same
County in pursuance of the said Act Charles Middleton< no role > a discreet Person Skilled
in the Art of Building was nominated and appointed Surveyor or Supervisor for the
Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents , those parts of the Parishes of
Saint Clement Dane and Saint Mary le Strand as lie within the Liberty of the Dutchy
of Lancaster and the Precinct of the Savoy in the said County (being one of the said
fourteen Districts) in the stead of the said Richard Holland< no role > and and Oath for the true
and impartial execution of his Office in that behalf was administered to him Now
therefore These are to Certify that Charles Middleton< no role > of
Chidley Court Pall Mall Surveyor was pursuant to the said Act of Parliament
at the General Quarter Session aforesaid on the said Thursday the third day of April
in the Twenty eighth Year aforesaid by the said Justices nominated and appointed
Surveyor or Supervisor of the Liberty of Saffron Hill, Hatton Gardon and Ely Rents
those parts of the Parishes of Saint Clement Dane and Saint Mary le Strand as lie
within the Dutchy of Lancaster and the Precinct of the Savoy in the said County
of Middlesex within the Jurisdiction of the said Quarter Session being one of
the fourteen Districts appointed as aforesaid And that the said Charles Middleton< no role >
