To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex at their General Quarter Session of the Peace
holden at the Session House or Clerkenwell Green in and for
the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseer of the Poor of the Parish of St. John The Evangelist in the
City of Westminster and County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or order of Removal under
the Hands and Seals of Stephen Cole< no role > , and W, Heckford Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of
Middlesex , bearing date the 11th day of October 1787. Elizabeth
Barrett
< no role > Widow of John Barrett< no role > who was the Son of James
Barrett
< no role > with her Child named James< no role > aged 4 Years, were Removed
from the Parish of Isleworth in the said County of Middlesex to
the said Parish of St. John the Evangelist Westminster as the
place of their last legal Settlement, whereby Your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be Aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore most
humbly Pray that the Benefit of the said
Appeal, may be saved unto them, and that
the hearing and Determining of the same
may be Adjourned until the next General
Session.

And Your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
