believes the prosecutrix kept herself Locked up in her
room to present her being served with Notice of Tryal
For since the time as Elapsed for service of the same He this
Deponent hath seen the prosecutrix and could have
served her but was informed it was two late And this
Deponent Saith That the Defts were ready to proceed to
Tryal had they been able to have served the prosecutrix
with Notice in due time
And this Deponent Patrick Carr< no role >
for himself saith
That he this Deponent went with the said Joseph
Munday< no role >
several times for the above purpose and that
he attended by himself on Wednesday nearly opposite
the Lodgings of the prosecutrix from about 5 o Clock in
the Morning untill 4 in the afternoon of that day
in order to Serve the prosecutrix with Notice of Tryal
and that during that time he went several times to
Mrs. North the Prosecutrix's Land lady who said she was
not at home and refused to let this Deponent go up to the
prosecutrix's apartment to see if she was at home or not
