Touching the Settlement of Elizabeth Lewis< no role >

To be heard at the Session House for the
County of Middlesex on Thursday the 23d February
1785.

Elizabeth Lewis< no role > was by Virtue of an Order of two
Justices dated the 10th: day of January last removed and Conveyed
from the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of
Middlesex to the Parish of Saint Anne Westminster in the said
County as the Place of her Settlement- Against which the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the aforesaid Parish of Saint Anne
Appeal.

The said Order was founded upon the Supposition of
Berwick Street being in the aforesaid Parish of Saint Anne whereas
every part of the said Street is in the Parish of Saint James Westminster
upon Examination of the said Pauper and upon Further enquiry
it is [..] found.

That her husband Richard Lewis< no role > Rented an
Appartment unfurnished in Berwick Street Six Months at
the Yearly rent of Sixteen Pounds And further that her Husband
never gained a Settlement in the Parish of Saint Anne Also that
he less her Six years ago and Went as she hath been informed
to the East Indies - For which please to Examine
