Humbly Sheweth
That on or about the Second day of December last your Petitioner
was convicted by

Peace
in and for the said County of Middlesex
in the Penally of twenty
Pounds for that the sd.

on the twenty ninth
day of November then last past Did sell to one
James Douglas< no role >

Pair of Gloves of the price of One shilling and two pence & affixed
a Ticket there to marked and stamped with a Stamp of less
denomination than re directed to be affixed by an Act of Parliament
passed in the 25th. Year of his present Majesty's Reign contrary
to the sd. Statute As by the sd. Conviction will more fully & at
large appear
Your Petitioner conceiving himself
aggrieved by such Conviction humbly
appeals against the same & prays a Day
may be Appointed for the hearing and
determining the same
