Whereas at the General Quarter Session of the Peace
held for this County in the Month of April last A County
Rate or Assessment of £4000 was ordered and made in
pursuance of the Statute in that behalf And the several
Sums thereby assessed were thereby made payable to John
Benson
< no role > Gentleman then Treasurer of this County who is
since deceased Whereupon his Majestys Justices of the
peace of this County assembled in this present Session
have in pursuance of the same Statute appointed Charles
Eyles
< no role > of Lincolns Inn to be the Treasurer of the said
County Money in the room and stead of the said John
Benson
< no role > It is therefore now Ordered that the
several High Constables within this County who have
not paid to the Treasurer the several Sums of Money
they were appointed to Collect and receive do forthwith
after receipt of the several and respective Sums made
payable by the said Rate Pay over the same to the said
Charles Eyles< no role > for the purposes in the several Statutes
in that behalf made
