That Your Committee having applied to the
Commissioners for Paving Etc St John Clerkenwell relative to the Justices
Paving in the Front of and round the Session House, have received the
following Answer Vizt.

"Sir


The Commissioners for Paving Etc St John Clerkenwell
have directed me to inform you that the Gentlemen appointed to
view the Ground and Street near the Sessions house on Clerkenwell Green
did on the 10th July report to them that they had viewed the same and
were unanimously of Opinion that it would be improper to consent
to the Carriage Way on the West at the North West Corner of the Sessions
house being at all narrowed and that there did not appear to the
Committee any objection to the Paving and Railing All the other
Places as proposed by the Magistrates; And that the Commissioners
on that day confirmed the Report.
