OFFICE OF CLERK OF THE PEACE
for the County of Middlesex ,
SESSIONS-HOUSE, Clerkenwell-Green
20th June, 1785.

SIR,


IN pursuance of an Order of Court, made at the last Session, I hereby
inform you, that his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County will,
on Thursday the 30th Day of June Instant, being the County-Day of the
next Session, at the SESSIONS-HOUSE, for the said County, take into their
Consideration in what Manner the Ground, belonging to this County,
commonly called the Quakers Ground, can be most properly disposed of
for the Benefit of the County; and also how far the Plans for a House
of Correction for this County, which have been delivered in, and How
lie in my Office, are proper for and can be adapted to the Ground on
which the same is now intended to be built; and will also determine
upon such other Means as may be necessary to expedite the Building the
said intended New House of Correction.
