These are to Certify that at the General Session of Oyer and
Terminer of our Lord the King holden for the City of London at
Justice hall in he Old Bailey within the parish of Saint Sepulchre
in the Ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid on Wednesday
the fifteenth day of September in the twenty fourth year of his
present Majesty's Reign Samuel Reynolds< no role > was in due
from of Law indicted for an lawfully receiving two Ells and an half
Ell of Silk on the value of three pounds six shilling, the Goods and
Chattels of William Griffin< no role > , George Hebert< no role > and John Griffin< no role > which
had lately before been feloniously stolen by a person unknown of the
said samuel Reynolds< no role > Knowing the same Goods and Chattels to have
been feloniously stolen) against the Statute and against his Majesty's
peace. Dated this 20th. day of September 1784.
