To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex at their General Quarter Session of the Peace
assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
in the City of London

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of William Blackmore< no role > Esquire andthe Reverend Herbert
Mayo
< no role > Doctor in Divinity two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in
and for the County of Middlesex aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the Tenth day of June One Thousand seven hundred and
eighty four Martha Pickett< no role > Singlewoman was removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint George in the said County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate as the Place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Martha Pickett< no role >

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved
by the said Pass Warrant or Order of Removal Do therefore
humbly appeal to this Court against the same praying
such Relief in the Premises as to this Court shall seem
meet.

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc

At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
in and for the County of Middlesex at the Session House for the said County
on Monday the fifth day of July in the Twenty fourth year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered by this Court that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint George have Notice of this Appeal
And that they and all Persons concerned do attend this Court on
Thursday next at nine of the Clock in the forenoon to hear and
abide the Judgment and Determination of this Court touching
the said Appeal
