Wee the undernamed being well assured
of the Abilities and Integrity of Joseph Carter< no role >
of Sutton Street Clerkenwell , do therefore certify
to the Worshipfull Magistrates of the
County of Middlesex , he is a Person duly
Qualified to succeed Mr Sutton deceased as
Surveyor to the district of St. James and St.
Johns Clerkenwell , under the late Act of
Parliament for regulating Buildings and
Party Walls Etc.
