On the Prosecution of Ann the Wife
of John Hardy< no role > for an Assault.

Ann Hardy< no role > of Battle Bridge in the County of Middlesex the above
named Prosecutrix maketh Oath and saith that the above named Defendant
entered into a Recognizance for her personal Appearance at the present Session of
the Peace to be holden at the Court House Clerkenwell Green (before Joseph
Girdler
< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex ) then and there to answer to such Bill of Indictment as should be
preferr'd and found against her And this Deponent further saith that she
hath at this present Session of the Peace held in and for the County aforesaid
preferr'd a Bill of Indictment against the above named Defendant and which
said Bill is returned by the grand Jury a true Bill and is which said Bill
the above named Defendant have not as yet appeared or pleaded as this
Deponent is informed and verily believe

Sworn in opon Court at the
General Session of the Peace held
at the Court House on Clerkenwell
Green this 3d. Day of May 1783}
