peace & the other a Commn of Oyer & Terminer and these Dept further

say that at such Sessions the Justices of the Peace & the Justices of oyer

& Terminer sit together upon the same Bench & that both Commons are

lb

usually opened & proclamations made under the same on the first

day of Sessions holden at the said Sessions house And that the

same persons serve as a Grand Jury & an Sworn under both Commns

& that the Acts & proceedings of the Court at the Sessions both as Justices

of the peace and as Justices of Oyer & Terminer are entered in a

Bood endorsed with the Title of the Session of the peace which Book is

ever since these Depts have been in the sd Office & long before as appears to

them by the Records of the sd Sessions hath been made out in the follow &

manner Vizt the first Leaf thereof is left in blank for a list of the Names

of such Justices as may be present each day of the Sessions to be

inserted therein The second Leaf thereof for the insertions of the Memdum
