This is to Certify that the within mentioned Jno Gray< no role >
was lately wounded by a Fellow Prisoner the Night
& recused at the same time a hurt in his Testicles
which yet remain much Swelled & inflamed, & require
such an Attendance to foment & Pultice as is
in consistant with the Situation of a Person in Jail
who is destitute of Friends
