Yearly Value of £30. is rated only 19s.1½d in and by the said Rate and
for that George Frost< no role > holding an House and Land Covered with Water
of the Yearly Value of £30. is rated only £1.1s.0d in and by the said Rate
That the Petitioner has a Material objection to the said Rate or
Taxation and apprehends himself to be aggrieved thereby by reason of
the unequal and unjust manner of Rating as aforesaid and therefore
humbly appeals against such Rate or Taxation. and praying that
such rate or Taxation may be Quashed or other relief in the Premises
and the said Appeal now coming on to be heard and the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall
consenting that the said Appeal should be allowed and praying by their
Counsel that the said Rate or Taxation should be vacated and Quashed
It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed
and the said Rate or Taxation be and the same is hereby vacated and
Quashed.
