MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace [..]
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the Count [..]
of Middlesex , at Hicks=Hall , in Saint John-Street
(by adjournment)on Thursday the fourteenth
Day of September in the twentieth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King
of Great Britain Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint
Giles in the fields in the said County Have at this present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or
Order under the hands and Seals of T. Milles and Jno Machin< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County one of them being of the Quor [..]
bearing date the fourth day of July last a Woman and three children mentioned and
described in the said Order as follows Elizabeth Bull< no role > Singlewoman otherwise [..]
"Elizabeth< no role > the widow of Joseph Howe< no role > and her three Bastard Children namely
"Betty< no role > aged about eight years born in the Middlesex Lying in Hospital in etc [..]
"parish of Saint Mary le bone in the said County Henry< no role > aged about swonn year [..]
"born in the said Hospital and Frederick< no role > about two years born [..]

last legal settlement of the [..] said two first month [..]
and the last mentioned child for Nurture whereof the Petitioners conceived the [..]
aggrieved whereupon at the request of the respondents It is ordered that [..]
Appeal be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the next General Quarter Ses [..]
of the Peace to be holden for the said County and an Notice hereof in the mean
time to be given unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
saint Giles in the fields they and all person concerned do attend the Court at Hicks
Hall aforesaid on Thursday the nineteenth day of October next at the hour of nine
in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the Judgment and determination
of the said court touching the said Appeal
